Aloha and welcome to the Hibiscus Lady Blog!

I am in Los Angeles as I write to celebrate the arrival of my second granddaughter Leialoha Carlos, born April 26, 2014 to my son Kaʻohele and daughter-in-law Diana. The hibiscus pictured in this first blog posting is of "Sweet Baby" which I named shortly after I learned that Diana was expecting!

The blossom is lightly scented on some days and is a mini at 4 3/4".

The baby is sweet beyond words and is also a mini at 7 pounds 13 ounces! Please see the next entry for her picture.
